Family Dinner
A family from church brought us Panera Bread soup and salad for dinner last night, and we had a nice little family dinner. Even Calvin had something to eat :)

Turbo Tax that is :) Calvin helped Daddy with our taxes this year (in more ways than one…$$)
Sunday in CW
It was a beautiful afternoon on Sunday, so we took a walk in Colonial Williamsburg. Calvin didn’t seem to like it much though, he was kind of fussy the whole trip :(
We bought refillable mugs so all our CW trips this year will be “refreshing”.
And we ran into Kyle, Sara & Abby…small world.

Boy’s Night
Luke gave me the best Valentine’s Day present this year…a full night of sleep!! He and Calvin slept in the baby room all night last weekend (both Friday & Saturday!), so I wouldn’t wake up at all…if only my body wasn’t trained to wake up throughout the night :)

Step Right Up and Take A Guess

Like Father Like Son
For Calvin’s 2 month pictures, we decided to have some fun. We wanted to see how much we could get Calvin to look like me as a baby.
Here’s the picture we were going for. This is a picture of me in 1984 at about 6 weeks old.
My mother had saved that outfit until now, and we were able to come up with a similar background and a blanket that was close enough. You’ll notice the outfit looks a little smaller on Calvin because he’s 3 weeks older and a couple of pounds bigger, but I think we came pretty close.

The Shot Heard Round The World
Today was shot day. The good news is that at 2 months old, Calvin is 12 lbs, 23 inches long, his head is fatter, and he’s protected against polio. (Thanks Jonas)
The bad news, 4 shots and an oral immunization. Ecckkk…
At least he got a shiny band-aid for being such a tough little guy.
Welcome to Virginia
The drive back to Virginia wasn’t too bad. We managed to avoid all of the weather for the most part, but got caught in some traffic in Atlanta. 1400 miles later, here we are.
I washed the car on Sunday afternoon just to make sure it was still blue underneath…
